If you aren’t a mom you will learn the inner horrifyingly hilarious secrets of motherhood. If you are a mother you will relate to a lot of this book. I was kind of confused by how some of the stories were absolutely fiction and some seemed like just stories about the authors actual life, it was hard to know okay is this real or fake. I wish there would have been a theme to it all so all of them were obviously fiction or all of them were real. I was expecting them to be a lot more funny I feel like they should have either made this into a much longer book, split it into 2 installments, or had way less authors involved because the stories weren’t as good as they could have been with more words. If they would have done the two installments one could have been fiction based on real life and the other could have been true stories. Solved both problems I had with one swoop xP this book is for sure motherhood though. It promises mom fails and it delivers. Truthfully I was so bored I stoppes reading this as long as possible knowing I would have to post on release day. I expected huuuuuge things from this book and I was super let down. I don’t think I laughed once.
Happy reading until next time,
Everyone just stop for one bleeping minute so we can all get real with each other. Being a mom is some tough $#!†. You’re constantly wearing questionable substances that make you ask, “is this chocolate or … oh, crap …” and your purse is merely a receptacle for three-week-old snacks and broken crayons.
Let’s be honest … even when we’re doing this “mom” thing right, we’re somehow doing it completely wrong.
Pardon us while we dust off our collective Mother of the Year trophy and proudly present you with an epic anthology of #MOMFAILS.
*Stories inspired by real life (unless you’re a cop, then it’s all complete fiction). Names and situations have been changed to protect the guilty (and by guilty, we mean the moms). Because motherhood is a battlefield and we’re all just trying to survive by any means necessary.
