I’m so sorry I’m so late but things have been kind of randomly crazy here and I didn’t read for 2 weeks. Except for maybe one book so I didn’t even have anything to post about. Trust me looking back I don’t even know how I went so long without a book but unfortunately I did. Thanks for waiting for me to reappear or for joining me though. I’m just going to give a little refresher for those who are new, I rate the books I’ve read for the week 5 being the highest rating and 1 being the lowest. However it is my rating system so I can give a 12 if I love a book and a zero if I really just hate it. The zero thing is rare I don’t think I’ve ever done that, and the 12 thing is common. I often go above a 5 when I really really love a book which is a lot xD Its my rating system and I can rate how I want to xP Here we go the books of the week!

Techy by LeAnn Ashers- 3.5/5 (This book was a little rough. It was a fantastic story line and the characters were amusing but it just didn’t flow smooth. I liked the idea behind the book it just felt a little Jumpy. I would for sure recommend it just be prepared to work to read it. It’s worth it though.)
Honored the Mountain Man’s Babies by Frankie Love- 4/5 (This book was so cute. It wasn’t what I was expecting it was so much better. It was a super quick read but it was a super great one. It had a unique story line and even though it was an insta love it was wonderful.)
A Shot of Sin (The Vault #1) by Eden Sumers- 5/5 (This book was well written and addicting. I couldn’t stop reading it. The sexual tension and heat between the characters was something I could feel. The introduction of the side characters made me need to know their stories as well. I can’t wait to read more!)
Book Boyfriend by Claire Kingsley- 3/5 (It was cute. The only negative I found was it felt like in the book itself that she wrote it with a checklist. She hit every point every romance book does. Sex check love check some ridiculous reason to break up that could have been avoided with communication check. It was a romance and that’s it. Nothing special. Nothing bad. Well written and what more can you ask for I guess.)
Dirty Like Me by Jaine Diamond- 5/5
The Bet (Players book 1) by Emma Nichols- 4/5
Must Fit the List by Allie Able- 0/5 (seriously could not stand the main character and I absolutely hated how it started. It was well written but I just couldn’t get into it because conceited much. Nothing like how I thought it would be.)
More than Comics by Elizabeth Briggs- 4/5
Reapers Claim by Simone Elise- 4/5
Reapers Rival by Simone Elise- 4/5
Swerve by Sherilee Gray- 4/5
Walking Heartbreak by Sunniva Dee- 3/5
Dangerous Rock: A Rockstar Romance (Dangerous Noise book 3) by Crystal Kaswell- 3/5

Next week I promise I’ll be on time!

Happy reading until next time,

Megaden.

Techy
Alisha
My story isn’t a very conventional one. I met my man online, which isn’t a shocking thing nowadays.
I sure didn’t know that he would rescue me from hell.
I had been stuck in hell with no way out. Then Techy swooped in with guns blazing and took me out of there. A knight in shining leather.
I didn’t expect to feel what I feel; that I would fall in love, that I would feel safe and protected.
I had never felt that before.
Until Techy.
Techy is a member of the Devil’s Souls MC, the most notorious MC in Texas. They love hard and fight harder. You mess with their family, hell is something you’d beg for.
Shit hits the fan when someone from my past comes to get what my dead father never gave back to him.
My name is Alisha and this is my story.

Techy
A man is after my woman.
He won’t be a man much longer.
He dares to try and take her from me?
Hell is something he’ll beg for. Because nobody, and I mean nobody, looks in Alisha’s direction in a way I don’t like. If they do? They’ll be eating their teeth.
If you threaten her? Death is an easy way out.
I will do whatever it takes to protect her.

This book has a HEA, with no cheating and a obsessed alpha. If you don’t like instalove this book isn’t for you.

Honored the Mountain Man’s Babies-
When my cousin Jax bails me out after a bar fight, I head to his middle-of-nowhere cabin.
Not my first choice—but who knows, maybe I’ll become a real fucking mountain man.
I’m not the only person staying at Jax’s place.
His wife’s cousin, Honor, is here too.
Suddenly this mountain is looking a hell of a lot better.
When Honor tells me her life is complicated it’s the understatement of the century.
Besides having a tender heart and the face of an angel, she’s a sister-wife, on the run from her ex, desperate to give her children a better life.
I’ve spent the last few years fucking around while Honor’s been raising her babies.
It’s time for me to get my shit together.
No one thinks Honor should get involved with another man, especially a man like me.
But they don’t understand—Honor is my woman now.
And I’m not leaving this mountain until I have her.

A Shot of Sin-
Throw back a shot of pure sin.
Leo Petrova has a dirty secret that’s about to get blown wide open. The exclusive VIP area hidden beneath his night club, Shot of Sin, is short staffed a bartender. The only available replacement is Shay—his temptation, his distraction—the sole woman he refuses to escort down the secret staircase. She has no clue about the private adult club that lies beneath her feet and he’d prefer to keep it that way. The Vault of Sin is the only place he can let his sexual proclivities run wild and he’s learned the hard way that Shay is too virtuous to be comfortable in the erotic environment.
Shay Porter is curious as to why her boss, the king of mixed messages, seems almost desperate to keep her from discovering what’s on the other side of the guarded door at the back of the building. But she’s never backed down from a challenge before. Sliding into Leo’s arms and this new world of carnal exploration is addictive yet frightening. She could lose her job, her self-respect, and her heart.
Exposing a vanilla woman to a sorbet lifestyle isn’t something Leo’s business partners approve of. Secrets are at stake. Friendships, too. And through it all, neither one of them can ignore the wicked taste of sin threatening to tear it all apart.
Warning: This sex club does not carry the government’s stamp of approval. Contains devilish debauchery, delightful deviance, and dancing on the edge of the darkest of sexual desires.
Please note: This book was previously released by Samhain Publishing. This new edition contains a few slight tweaks as well as a new setting for the series.

Book Boyfriend-
He’s too hot for words.
Mia
Alex Lawson might as well be the hottest book boyfriend imaginable. A fun, romantic, possessive, panty-melting man. And the best part?
He’s real.
For a girl like me—a slightly awkward book addict—Alex is a dream come true, straight off the pages of my favorite romance novels. But our story is turning into a whirlwind romance—the kind that only exists in books.
And I wonder if we’re heading toward our own happily ever after, or if he’s too good to be true.
Alex
Here’s the thing. I’m not a bad guy. Lying to Mia wasn’t part of the plan. Finding success as a romance author using a female pen name wasn’t part of the plan either. But sometimes life takes unexpected turns. Like realizing the woman you’re falling for is your alter-ego’s online best friend.
Online, she thinks I’m a woman named Lexi. In person, she knows I’m all man. I want to worship her body and claim every inch of her.

But if she finds out the truth, I could lose everything.

Dirty Like Me-
A gorgeous rock star.
An indecent proposal.
How can a girl resist?
Struggling barista Katie Bloom doesn’t even know who Jesse Mayes is until she inadvertently wins the coveted role of sex kitten in his hot new music video. But by the time she’s in bed with him, she knows his reputation.
Love maker. Heartbreaker.
Making out with a stranger in front of a camera crew isn’t how Katie imagined herself getting over a broken heart, but when Jesse touches her, sparks fly. The sex is fake but the chemistry is real, and soon the steamy video is blazing up the charts.
Then Jesse makes Katie an irresistible offer: act as his girlfriend for six weeks while he promotes his new album. The only catch? Their sizzling make-out sessions will be for the cameras only.
Which is fine with Katie, since she’s not about to trust her heart to rock’s most legendary lover. Her body? Maybe…

The Bet-
After a lifetime of bets with my best friends, we made the one bet that would change our lives.
Get married. Make it last. Win a car.
I didn’t even care about winning. What does a billionaire bachelor need with a car? I live a charmed life. Why would I need bragging rights? I’m cool and confident. Bragging is not my style. As far as I was concerned, I wasn’t even one of the players. This was all about helping a friend heal.
See, I forgot all about the damn bet the moment I laid eyes on Kate.
Then all I wanted was to kiss Kate, have Kate, marry Kate.
Of course, I never considered what I could lose if I won the bet.

Must fit the List-
Have you ever wished you could create the world’s perfect man? A man to fulfill your every fantasy? A man who could walk off the pages of your favorite novel? Yeah. Well, so have I.
After ten plus years of looking, I’ve had enough. My dating history is a joke, and I need to start from scratch. I’ve decided to design the man who will rock my world—on paper, anyway. I don’t know if he exists, but if he’s out there, I am determined to find him. If he doesn’t fit my list, he’s out. That’s the only catch. I’m not going to settle for anything less than perfect.
Grab a glass of wine, some chocolate, and maybe even some chips, ladies, because we’re taking a trip down memory lane … Cass style.

More than Comics-
They’re friends online – but can they be more in real life?
Writer Tara McFadden has been friends with artist and drummer Hector Fernandez for years, long before his band became famous on reality TV – yet they’ve never met in person. They finally have a chance to connect offline when they’re both sent to Comic-Con to promote the graphic novel they collaborated on.
Hector’s secretly been in love with Tara for as long as he can remember, and once they meet, she sees him in a new light. All the years of longing lead to an incredible night of passion after one of his concerts, but neither is sure if their online relationship can translate into a real life romance – or if this will ruin their friendship forever.
Over four crazy days at Comic-Con, Hector and Tara must decide if they want a future together. But when their story seems to be over, it’s up to Hector’s entire band to make sure he and Tara get their happy ending.

Reapers Claim-
In my motorcycle club I’ve earned the name ‘Reaper’ and now I have my claim on Abby Harrison.
Reaper:
I didn’t know what love was, but I knew what want was, and I wanted Abby. When I walked out of the club and saw her I was stone cold sober. She was quietly beautiful and unlike any other woman I’d had before. But she was the daughter of the president of Satan’s Sons MC and completely out of my reach.
Abby:
Everyone knew The Reaper and how he got his name, so I never expected him to be my salvation when my sister’s drunk boyfriend wanted to lay hands on me. I thought my innocence would be lost in that alley, until he showed up and saved me. I know being with Reaper will lead to trouble, but I don’t know if I have the strength to stay away.
Being together might be dangerous, but outlaws are meant to break the rules.

Reapers Rival-
The steamy and dramatic sequel to the Best Selling Reaper’s Claim by Simone Elise.
After the events of the first book Abby has joined her half sister’s gang Hellbound. Can Reaper claim her back?
Reaper:
This life gives you regrets on a silver platter. This life makes you colder, and there is a coldness in you now Abby, and I don’t like seeing it. It is what I was trying to protect you from. You always had an innocent heart, but something got inside and messed around with it, and I don’t like it. You can come back from this. Let me take all the bad from you, so you can go back to being you. Ain’t ever gonna stop trying to make you mine.
Abby:
You have to lose yourself to really find yourself. You have to crawl through the dark times to understand and crave the light. And sometimes you need to lose the man you love to realize that what you had in the first place was in fact love. We had a history between us. But more importantly, we had love between us and time doesn’t affect love, or at least I hope it won’t affect our love. Right now I don’t belong anywhere, but I know that no matter what happens or where I am, my heart will always belong to him.
Being together might be dangerous, but outlaws are meant to break the rules.

Swerve-
He’ll risk it all for one more night…
When Hugh Colton’s father ran off, leaving him with a pile of gambling debts and a crime boss demanding repayment in stolen cars, his options were limited. Now his life’s on hold, and the last thing he needs to be worrying about is a distressed redhead in a Poison Ivy costume. He sure as hell shouldn’t be rescuing her in the car he’s just boosted—or asking her to come home with him. But a thief like him can’t offer more, no matter how much he wants to.
Everyone either leaves or is taken away, at least that’s all graphics designer Shay Freestone has ever known. And after a confidence shattering, career destroying break-up, she’s sworn off relationships forever. So it’s a good thing this raw, bearded, mountain of a man isn’t her type. Yet as one reckless hot night leads to another, their casual, no-strings affair starts to feel like so much more.
Can two hearts with too many secrets dare for a future?

Walking Heartbreak-
Indie-rocker Bo Lindgren is worshiped for his looks and musical genius. It’s been lonely at the top since his ex left. Bo will never take a girlfriend again though, because he doesn’t have the chops to love. He knows he’s poison, a heartbreak waiting to happen for anyone he allows too close—like his ex. Bo screws his way through the fangirls until he’s sick of it all. Until the dark gaze of Nadia Vidal appears in the door to his dressing room.
Saved from an arranged marriage by Jude, the love of her life, Nadia eloped and got married at nineteen. But now, two years later, life is wilted, dead, and not what anyone should have to endure.
Nadia, with her secret-keeper eyes and instant understanding of who Bo is, attracts and fascinates him without even trying. The ring gleaming on her finger should keep them apart, but morals can’t always resist destiny.
When brokenhearted meets heartbreaker, whose heart is really at stake?

Dangerous Rock-
I’m married to a rock star.
And I don’t even know his last name.

Bella
There’s a tall, tattooed man in my bed.
Not any tall, tattooed man.
He’s a rock star.
A sex god.
And now he’s my husband.
Last night, I married Joel.
It’s ridiculous. I’m a good girl. I don’t get into trouble. I don’t look twice at bad boys. I can’t stay married to a rock star.
But there’s something about Joel. Not just the way his green eyes light up when he smiles, or the way he makes me laugh, or the way he makes me shake with pleasure-
I’m not sure I can walk away.

Joel
Bella Chase is a challenge.
With the tight bun and the cute cardigan, she’s as prim and proper as they come.
My only plan for the night is getting her under me, screaming my name.
Filling her with so much pleasure she begs me to stop.
I didn’t plan on marrying her.
But now that she’s my wife, I’m not about to let her go.
