Every once in a while I like to be daring and pick books based only on their covers and titles. Sometimes this works out well and other times I read some strange stuff. Its fun though because I end up with books I’d never pick normally and its cool to get out of my comfort zone. This week has a few ARCs that I read but everything else I didn’t have a clue what I was reading until it was over. I know the old saying never judge a book by its cover but sometimes its what you need to really push you into reading something you never knew you’d like. I had some really amazing books this week so I’d say it was a success.
Legally Charming by Lauren Smith- 3/5
Wicked Bride Games by Clarissa Wild- 2/5 (This one is SUPER messed up. If you aren’t a fan of crazy dark books don’t read this. There was technically rape and murder and some other sick and twisted stuff so if you aren’t into that do not read this.) (Like I said sometimes you read some really weird stuff if you don’t read the blurb xD)
Hole Punched by Susan Renee- 10/5 (this one is nothing like the blurb makes it sound so don’t judge it based on solely that it is amazing.)
Cheater (Curious Liaisons, #1) by Rachel Van Dyken- 8/5 (I did not expect this book to be as funny as it was. I loved Avery and her sense of humor. I could not put this book down. I debated doing a blog about it but I dont think I would have had enough words to make it work. This is an absolute MUST READ. It was hilarious and adorable and just amazing.)
We Said Forever by Marie James- 6/5
A Good Girl by Jenny Siegel- 3/5
Almost Perfect by Jenny Siegel- 4/5
Dirty Bastard (Grim Bastards MC #1) by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield- 4/5
Filthy Bastard (Grim Bastards MC #2) by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield- 4/5
Guilty Bastard (Grim Bastards MC #3) by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield- 4/5
Nasty Bastard (Grim Bastards MC #4) by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield- 4/5
Wicked Bastard (Grim Bastards MC #5) by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield- 4/5
I have a few ARCs I read this week that I’m not posting the reviews to until closer to their release dates at the end of this month, so I’m not adding them to this list until I post the reveiws. Get ready for some of the best books I’ve read this year 3 of them are coming out at the end of March! I will be posting about them soon so stay tuned!
Happy reading until next time!

By day, I manage The Hole Punch, and it isn’t as sexy as it sounds. It’s an office supply store–not an establishment for vibrators and butt plugs. By nighttime though, that’s when I unleash an exciting passion of mine–one that I’m not prepared to share just yet.
I don’t have the time or the energy for a relationship right now. Besides, sex with colleagues is always a bad idea. Now, sex with customers? That’s something I can get on board with, especially since Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome keeps showing up and setting my insides on fire. Although I don’t know his name or what he does, I can only imagine what he needs with piles of paper, pens, post-its, and highlighters.
Maybe one day, if I’m lucky, I can manage his hole-punch.
Lucas Thorn wasn’t born a cheater. All it took was a single moment—say, a certain disastrous incident on the night before his wedding—and boom. Reputation destroyed forever and always. So now he owns it. He has a lady friend for every night of the week (except Sundays—God’s day and all), and his rules are simple: No commitments. No exceptions.
But a certain smart-mouthed, strawberry blonde vixen is about to blow that all to hell.
Avery Black has never forgiven Lucas for cheating on her sister. And suddenly being forced to work with him is pretty much a nightmare on steroids. Of course, it does afford her the opportunity to make his life as difficult as possible. But no good revenge scheme comes without payback. Because he didn’t become the Lucas Thorn without learning a few things about women.
Now Avery’s lust for vengeance has turned into, well, lust. And if Lucas stops cheating, it’s definitely not because he’s falling in love…
We Said Forever-
They say the only way to go from there is up, but what is “up” when you’re born into someone else’s rock bottom?
At ten, football became my first love. It’s what got me out of the house away from my self-destructive family. My love for football landed me at Las Vegas University with a full ride scholarship, and the orange on my jersey was my favorite color…until my eyes landed on the red dress Fallyn wore the night we met.
At twenty-one, I jumped off the cliff into the unknown the second Fallyn McIntyre danced in my arms at a party. I had the greatest girl in the world and the opportunity to play college ball every Saturday. My rock bottom was looking up, thanks to my two first loves.
Parties, sex, and football—life was perfect. But one drink too many, and my world came crashing down. When I chose pills over my second love, my head told me it was the best decision I ever made. The pills keep me warm and protect me from the distance Fallyn created. Percs don’t judge me. They make me feel alive.
They say the best things come in threes, but one leads to a stable future, one is my salvation, and the other drags me to hell—a hell I’d willingly burn in for eternity…if it weren’t for my second love.
