I’m going to start something new today! Since I’m in a book rut (I keep reading books that are good but nothing super special) I decided to start weekly rating wednesday xP I’m going to go back and rate every book I read this week. Since I can’t review every book I read, I thought this would be a nice way to start the week off. So I think I’m going to do a rating system of 5. 5 being the highest rating and 1 being the lowest.
Where was I going with this again?
He’s a combat veteran and an all-star athlete with rippled muscles and the charm that makes panties easily drop for him.
When he shows up with a swagger and a smile, I tell him two words he’s never heard before: Not Interested.
But Cameron doesn’t take no for an answer.
My heart tells me to trust him.
But, with his reputation and frenzied fangirls, I can’t shake my fear.
Am I just another play in his book?
I lost my men. I lost my leg. I lost my career. And all I could think of was Lauren.
I left for West Point with two things: a broken heart and a promise to never let it happen again.
Now I’m back in Colorado as a war hero. F*ck that, I’m a celebrity.
And every woman wants to open her legs for Captain America.
So why do I only want her?
My fake ID says I’m twenty-one. And I will be…in four years.
What can I say? I blossomed early. Home sucked, so I left, determined to do something with my life.
Landing the gig as lead vocalist in the band was a dream come true. I’ve worked hard to make something of myself and nothing is going to ruin that for me.
Then He showed up. Saxon Waite, ex bad boy of rock.
He’s hot as hell and so into me.
But he’s also twenty-five.
I don’t want to lie to him, but if the truth comes out I’ll lose everything. Including him.
I let Evie Bishop go once. I won’t make that mistake again.
I’ve loved Evie since we were kids, before I found the Storm MC.
Long before I sold my soul to the devil.
I never wanted to bring her into this world, but a man can only go so long without the woman he loves by his side. I need her like I fucking need air and I won’t stop until she’s mine again.
I knew she’d battle me.
I knew I’d have to fight hard for her.
But I never thought I’d be in this predicament—torn between her and my club.
The thing about me, though, is that I’ll do anything for those I love. Even if it could cost me everything.
She’s stubborn, full of attitude, and she doesn’t like to do what she’s told.
And yet, at a time when I should be focusing on the war my club is at, she consumes my mind because she’s also fearless and fierce, and I’ve never met a woman like her.
The thing about war, though, is the minute you let your focus drop, your enemy rises up and attacks. And sometimes they bring you to your knees in ways you never imagined.
The other thing about war? You learn just what you’re capable of doing to protect those you love.
I’ve been warned.
But I’m in too deep.
Hailee Archer was mine the minute I met her and there’s no way in hell I’m giving her up.
Our club is at war, though, and her brother is our greatest ally.
He’s made it clear he doesn’t want me anywhere near her.
He’s threatened to walk away from our club if he doesn’t get what he wants.
What he doesn’t know about me is that I’m a stubborn bastard.
I will fucking fight to the bitter end for my family.
He wants to threaten me?
He can go right the fuck ahead.
He doesn’t stand a chance.

But the next morning as I pull up to the lake house my mom has rented for the summer, I get the feeling my world is about to crumble…it was just supposed to be us girls—me, my two sisters, and Mom…but we’re not alone…
Apparently my mom’s old high school sweetheart John owns the house, and he has three sons, all around the same age as me and my sisters. And they thought it would be a great idea to put us all together under the same roof for four weeks.
We’ll have to share bedroom walls, sit down for family dinners, and suffer through a million other forced, awkward, sexually confusing family activities I’m sure…
And then I realize my mom’s new boyfriend has a son a little older than me. I see him barreling toward me on a 4-wheeler, a lit cigarette between his lips, strangely familiar tattoos on his muscular forearms and chest…as he gets closer I’m filled with dread as I begin to realize who he is…but he isn’t slowing down.
The f*cking prick nearly runs into me.
As he takes off his helmet I’m instantly filled with horror and an undeniable twinge of excitement between my legs. It’s him. The man who took me last night, used me every which way, stretched me more than any man I’ve ever been with before…and now he’s ignoring me, acting like he’s never seen me before in his life.
I have a feeling it’s going to be a fun summer.
He’s a legend on campus—a star athlete with records that’ll never be broken. I always see him on campus walking around with some new hot piece of ass, and I dream about what it would be like to be the one on his arm…
It’s totally unfair to have such an effortlessly handsome grad student as my TA. Who knew economic theory could be so sexy? Problem is, I’ve been so distracted by him all semester that now I’m failing his course, and I need pass if I hope to graduate on time.
He wants to meet with me after class, to discuss how I can make up my grade this summer…extra assignments, private lessons…whatever it takes. But when a disgusting realization is made—our student-teacher sex sessions are permanently interrupted.
Our parents are engaged. They’re madly in love and can’t wait to make me, Lukas, and all of our siblings one big happy family. To make matters worse, we have to endure a family vacation at his father’s lake house. Together. A million miles away from everything.
Thing is, the more inappropriate my desire is for him, the more intensely it burns…and he isn’t shy about meeting me halfway.
According to him, we’re going to defile every room and every surface of his father’s house before we go back to school.
Finn—the youngest of the three Hawthorne brothers, he’s the panty-melting lead guitarist of the band The Few, and a cocky, confident, tattooed sex god.
He also happens to be the son of my mom’s new boyfriend—and totally off-limits.
But I can’t help the way my body betrays me when he walks in on me changing. The way his eyes linger…the way his pants harden…
Or when he purposefully walks out of the shower naked, making sure I get a full view of his huge d*ck.
We have to endure an entire summer of this torture—stuck in a house with our crazy family members, our bedrooms only a few feet away, our young bodies wanting nothing more than to come together.
We’ll just have to make sure to be quiet…
I gave my last relationship everything I had and got shafted in return. Now I’m all about proving I have what it takes to work amongst talented designers and architects of ARC Industries, and building a better future for myself.
Then my new boss arrives, and I just know trouble will follow.
How will I prove I’m more than a smart mouth and sexy curves when I’m distracted by daydreams of the company’s sexy CEO, Theo Solomon?
To make matters worse, my daydreams turn into reality, and I become Theo’s booty call.
Due to my past, I’m hesitant to accept that I want more than secret rendezvous. But is Theo worth the risk?
Standing in for a friend who runs an escort service, Kat agrees to accompany one man for one night. How hard could it be? All I have to do is smile and look pretty.
After his last girlfriend left a bad taste in his mouth for commitment, Damon nixes the idea of a relationship. He simply orders and pays for what he needs. Why ask for the full menu when you can just order dessert?
A chance meeting, a book club and a penchant for dessert will change everything.
“Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first.”
Twelve years ago my life was stolen from me. My heart led me to a place I never should’ve been because my mind didn’t know any better. Before that day, I was carefree and happy. I was excited about the future—a future that was blossoming with each passing day. A future with Trevor—my best friend and my new love. But what stood before us would break anyone, and what I didn’t know was that it had already broken him.
We would be held captive for ninety days. We weren’t allowed to think on our own, breathe on our own, or speak on our own. Our minds and bodies were pushed to the edge and eventually broke. By the end of our ninety days, we were both lost inside ourselves, but bound to one another. Even though Trevor smiled every day, his will was broken, his soul was sucked dry, and his mind was cracking with each passing day. But on this fateful day, I finally understood why his smile was sad because mine was also.
My name’s Keda Spencer and this is my story of survival, and the road that led to it.
